Murray, Donald M. "All Writing Is Autobiography." College Composition and Communication 42.1 (1991): 66-74.
Donald M. Murray explains that when people start writing they evaluate all the essential points and they have the choice of writing about anything. Throughout the article, Murray emphasizes that whatever papers we write they reflect our autobiographies since we generate them from our point of view. Considering the significance his arguments I see that he is correct because when one starts writing papers, the content reflects what the writer considers acceptable and correct. Therefore, any form of writing can be considered as writing from autobiographical thoughts.
The author has also supported his hypothesis in a satisfactory way since he has a proper choice of words and has provided sufficient examples which prove his arguments. This article has made me understand that as a writer, I should learn to write differently because Murray insists that writers should allow their mind to wonder and just write. This signifies that writers should never allow constraints limit their ideas and writing capabilities. When writing about our opinions, we should not be too personal and it is also important that we provide illustrations to facilitate reader’s understanding.
Fadiman, Anne. "Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader." Nothing New Under The Sun. New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1996. 101-111.

Plagiarism is common in all forms of writing and happens when someone steals part or work done by another person. Fadiman explains that even during the Romantic era people still copied other others work but unlike now plagiarism was considered immoral and handled with greater satisfaction. Fadiman explains that “literature is a one big recycling bin” because the authors no longer provide original materials, but rather they modify the existing works by rewriting them. She emphasizes that plagiarism hurts and I agree with this view because plagiarizin...
