In his book ‘You Lost Me,’ Kinnaman rests his eyes on young adults and the church dropout problem. He seeks to uncover the mystery of why young adults between the ages of 18 and 29 leave the church and denounce their commitment to serve. In the book, he discusses three groups of dropouts, as well as their stance on the church. Also, he goes ahead and shares how this group sees the church contrary to it being an agent of genuine transformation. Lastly, he provides recommendations on what he feels the church can do to rectify the dropout issue.
