Remote Patient Monitoring System to Improve Health Care
In a 4- to 5-page paper, synthesize the peer-reviewed research you reviewed. Format your Assignment as an Annotated Bibliography. Be sure to address the following:
Identify the 4 peer-reviewed research articles you reviewed, citing each in APA format.
Summarize each study, explaining the improvement to outcomes, efficiencies, and lessons learned from the application of the clinical system each peer-reviewed article described. Be specific and provide examples. This type of assignment is considered an "Annotated Bibliography". The 4 articles need to be completed research studies on the same type of clinical system. These studies will provide evidence the clinical system improved outcomes or efficiencies
In your conclusion, synthesize the findings from the 4 peer-reviewed research articles.
I just wanted to make sure that my paper identifies 4 peer-reviewed research articles you reviewed, citing each in APA format because it showed in my order only 1 source which is incorrect. I need 4 peer-reviewed research articles please. In addition my paper should address the following...

Remote Patient Monitoring System
Many hospitals in the United States of America (USA) have implemented remote patient monitoring (RPM) systems. Specifically, RPM technologies use electronic devices to remotely monitor and capture patients’ health data and transmit the information electronically to healthcare providers. These systems have gained more popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the implementation of regulations to curb the spread of the deadly disease. However, many individuals do not understand the importance of the RPM systems. In that light, focusing on the RPM technologies' effectiveness can help physicians track patients’ health in real-time and use the data obtained to develop appropriate treatment strategies.

Poncette et al.'s (2019) primary aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of the current RPM systems in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the expectations for future changes. Researchers investigated the clinical requirements of the RPM and highlighted barriers that might hinder the implementation of updated RPM systems. The research was performed at three German university hospitals' ICUs, and Vital Sync virtual RPM platform 2.4 was used. Moreover, some ICU staff were interviewed, including four respiratory therapists, six nurses, and five physicians, and the analysis was done based on the grounded theory method.
Researchers conducted the study to identify critical requirements that can be included in the existing RPM systems. As such, physicians and other healthcare providers would find this research vital since RPM technologies assist them in attending to patients' needs in the ICU. Therefore, the study encourages healthcare stakeholders to unite for the sustainable implementation of RPM systems. Besides, the improvement of the RPM systems can lead to the advancement of the device usability and interoperability standards in the ICU.
Poncette et al.'s explanation of the RPM systems' improvements is useful for healthcare providers, particularly those working in the ICU. RPM technologies foster patient safety. Some of the critical things that researchers suggested to be improved were the use of smartphones for monitoring patients, wireless noninvasiveness, alarm management optimization, and interoperable monitoring sensors. Consequently, lessons obtained in this article can be applied to improve the RPM systems used in the ICU.

Remote patient monitoring program in automated peritoneal dialysis: Impact on hospitalizations. Peritoneal Dialysis International: Journal of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis, 39(5), 472-478. https://doi.org/10.3747/pdi.2018.00287.
Sanabria et al. (2019) conducted the study to determine how RPM can be used to promote treatment effectiveness of patients on Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) therapy. Researchers had identified that the lack of patient monitoring was a limitation to adherence to prescriptions. The study involved 360 participants with an average age of 57 years. An RPM system was used in sixty-five patients, and the rest were put on APD without being monitored. The data was recorded in a year.
Results indicated that RPM was an effective system in monitoring patients. The research is vital since it shows that some existing treatments might be the best, but the only thing they lack is proper monitoring, particularly if they are administered remotely. For example, in the scenario at hand, APD failed to achieve the best results since physicians were unable to monitor patients’ compliance with prescriptions. However, the inclusion of RPM in APD patients reduced hospitalization days, meaning that ma...
