Educational Opportunities and Overcoming Educational Barriers

The significant educational opportunity that significantly contributed to my success while I was in school was being part of a science club. This prepared me for the college because it formed the basis for my interest in science. While in school, the club gave me the opportunity to be the chairperson, and we came up with programs such as the development of several teaching aids such as models to be used in classes during science lessons. The fact that I was the chairperson of the club did not just come by chance, but it was a result of my commendable performance in the sciences.
